Part A: Using our website
1. General information only. Content on this site, including research, market notes, tools and calculators, is general information. It does not consider your objectives, financial situation or needs, and is not financial, credit, tax or legal advice. Get advice from a licensed professional before acting.
2. No promise of results. Past results, client reviews and statistics describe past outcomes. They do not predict or guarantee future capital growth, rental income or returns.
3. Reviews. Client reviews are shown as written on Google, without edits beyond length. We do not pay for reviews or select only positive ones. Any reviewer with a personal or business connection to Rothmore is labelled.
4. Accuracy. We take care to keep information accurate and current, but markets and laws change. We do not guarantee that everything on the site is complete or up to date.
5. Intellectual property. The Rothmore name, logo, design, research and content belong to The Rothmore Group Pty Ltd. You may share links and quote short extracts with credit. You may not copy, republish or sell our content without written permission.
6. Links to other sites. Links to third-party sites, such as our finance partner, are for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
7. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
Part B: When you become a client
These clauses also appear in our client agreement.
1. Privacy. You consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, including sharing it with the professionals involved in your purchase.
2. Identity verification and AML/CTF. As a real estate business, we have obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) from 1 July 2026. You agree to provide identification and information about the source of your funds when we ask. We may verify it with third-party providers and screen against sanctions and politically exposed person lists.
3. Reporting. We may be required by law to report certain transactions or matters to AUSTRAC. We may be legally prohibited from telling you that a report has been made.
4. If information is not provided. If we cannot complete verification, we may delay, decline or stop acting for you, as the law requires.
5. Accuracy. You confirm that the information you give us is true and complete, and you will tell us if it changes.
